Hey Guys!I have a question for you guys! My family and I, Me, Sparkle, Mom, and Dad, are all going to California for two weeks, and we are driving by LA. I have always wanted to go to an American girl store (yes, i know, woe is me, I'm a toy blogger and i haven't been to the american girl place). If any of you guys have been, how much fun is it, and what is your favorite thing to do? If you can help me, i'd really appreciate it! :-)

How to give your doll a makeover!Hey Guys!how are y'all doing? I'm doing pretty meow-tastic myself! Today i'm going to teach you how I gave my doll a makeover. But before you read this post, you should read my "custom mlp-mcdonald's ponies" post. Here's the link: So if you've read the post already, so far i've already made it a rule to change cheap dolls. In this case, i received this doll from my dentist. So instead of me chattering on, let's begin! Go find: 1. Craft paint or nail polish 2. Nail polish remover 3. paint brushes 4. hot glue and gun 5. doll hair-i'm using hair from a bag i got from michaels but you can buy quality hair from dollyhair.com. 6. thumbtack or a pin 7. nail polish remover 8. Q tips 9. scissors Method #1To do the first method, take your nail polish remover and Q tips to remove the facial features. Cut of the hair with scissors and glue on your doll hair. There are many methods of re rooting the hair, but i think it's a lot easier hot gluing the hair. ;-) Method #2
Use a thumbtack or pin to paint the whites of the eyes and the pupils. Glue on the doll hair in strands or style it accordingly. And now your super cute doll is finished! I could have made my doll look like me or Rainbow Dash, but i chose to see where my purr-fect creativity came in to make this doll. Comment, like, and share! have a purr-fect day!

Hey Guys!Today i wanted to show you our special "My Little Pony" customs that we created from Mcdonalds happy meal toys. Remember, the materials and methods we use are totally optional. They may not be available to you, or you may not be able to use them. So, with that out of the way, here our are beautiful ponies! Lotus Blossom and Golden Harvest turned out really good! We started by painting their bodies white with crafting paint. I like to paint the bodies with a solid color before painting the actual color i want it to be. Once the paint dries, you can paint the pony with other colors. Mix your colors to find the exact color of the pony you want to make. we repainted the eyes, made the cutie mark, and we used scissors to cut and switch the tails. I put Cra-Z-Loom bands around the tail to keep it together and Hot glued the tail in the hole. Finally, I used Sparkle Nail polish and Clear nail polish to give extra detail. Customs are so much fun, but here are some tips to ensure that you save money.
1. Don't customize something unless you have a double. That way, if you mess up, you haven't ruined your favorite toy ;-) 2. I've made it a rule only to customize cheap toys. Mcdonalds happy meal toys are good, but they can get pricey, so i like to get mcdonalds toys in a bag of 12 or more @ a yard sale or Goodwill my local thrift store :-) 3. If you are customizing something expensive, such as a Monster High doll or barbie, have a plan before you start. It's no fun when your $20 goes down the drain because you didn't plan ahead and ruined your doll. My Little Pony G4The cute characters, the action, the lessons ponies learn after every episode-what gives "My Little Pony" such audience appeal? And the show airing on hub network isn't the only popular concept. The pony line full of pastel ponies with brushable hair and bright, lovable, playsets. And the new "Equestria Girls" movie and merchandise has opened up a brand new avenue of MLP Franchise. What makes these ponies sooooooooooooooooo popular, for girls and BOYS alike? Lets find out... Q: What is My Little Pony?
Q: What morals does MLP teach?A: Laughter, Generosity, kindness, loyalty, honesty, and the magic of friendship. Q: on a rating from 1 to 10, where does mlp fall?A: definitely a 10!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Q: What are your favorite ponies? A: Kitty: Twilight Sparkle Sparkle: Pinkie Pie!!! Thank you for reading and remember to try out toys yourself, because our opinions may not be the same as yours. If you have any more questions about this toy line, comment below. Have a purr-fect day!
Hey Guys!Today we are going to create our very own doll vanity and make-up. And just to get this out of the way, this post doesn't explain how to make a chair because i already made a post on how to make a doll chair. So w/o further adieu, the vanity and make-up :-) You will need: 1. Box w/a wide base. 2. extra cardboard 3. small mirror or mirror paper (or if you hate spending money on extra stuff, like me, you can just use aluminum foil) 4. aluminum foil 5. optional: small decorative rocks or gems 6. Craft paint-black, skin color, and any colors of your choice. (you will need 6 colors) 7. beads 8. hot glue gun and sticks DIY- Doll Make-upUm, okay, so this is the make-up. I chose to do my three favorite cosmetics: Lipstick, eyeshadow, and blush. LipstickI made this lipstick basicly by gluing one bead in another. The green beads you see originally twisted into each other, but i cut the twister part off to glue the other bead in. BTW: you can find twister beads in some kinds of necklaces. Eye shadowTo make this eye shadow pallet, i simply took some aluminium foil and folded it accordion style. Here's a tip: try to make it as compact as you can. Fold in half. Now you can paint it. On the top panel, i painted a black frame around a little part of foil to look like a mirror. Then i painted three colors on the bottom to be the eye shadow. :-) BlushTo make this cute, little blush, I simply glued to decorative rocks together, a painted my doll's skin tone in the middle of the bottom rock. Doll vanityThis doll vanity is really easy to make. The first things you need are two boxes (one w/a ride base) Cut the second box in a semi-circle. Build up your box, and begin cutting your box like the one below. Now glue your semi-circle to the back of your box. Paint your box w/multiple coats of paint and attach your mirror. And to decorate my mirror I glued decorative rocks and a pipe cleaner dragon fly (you'll soon learn i love dragon flies) :-) Add your make-up and your dolls are ready for a make over! Have a purr-fect day! Comment, join the forum, and take the survey!
Hey Guys!!!Ready for some shopping? Now Barbie can too! Let's make some shopping accessories for Barbie! For the shopping cart: 1. a cardboard box- i'm using a toaster strudel box :-) 2. drinking straws- any kind will do 3. beads 4. scissors 5. Silver crafting paint 6. Optional- a plastic spoon that can fit a barbie baby 7. Sharpie 8. hot glue and gun For the food: 1. Grocery adds 2. construction paper 3. clear packing tape For the basket: 1. Construction paper 2. extra cardboard Lets start on the cart! Draw a line in the middle and cut on it. Keep one of the sides. Cut your box like the one below. Now put on the straws by cutting them to size and gluing them on. Now paint the whole cart w/silver craft paint. And after that i glued a "Kroger" label on the front of the cart. And then you're done! Now to the food. To make the box type of food, make a box sketch, like the one below, and cut it out. Make the folds, glue, and glue on a picture of food from the add. Cereal box pictures look best :-)
Hey Guys!Today we are going to teach you how to make your very own doll vending machine. It's really fun, trust the sisters! You will need: 1. box- I am being really picky about the box i use. i am using a "Fitbit" box, basically, a box with clear plastic panels. You can use your own box and just add plastic to the front. 2. hot glue and hot glue gun 3. Clear Tape 4. food adds 5. toilet paper or paper towels 6. Construction paper 7. Scissors 8. Cardboard So lets get started! So, the first thing you are going to do is cover your box with paper. I chose to use black construction paper and red construction paper. If your box needs clear plastic, draw a line in the middle of your box and cut on the line. Keep the bottom half. Make folds on your clear plastic and glue to the box. Now start cutting out your adds. Think: "What would i normally find in a vending machine?" and go from there. Cut out extra adds so you can fold it like a book. Once you've made your pocket, same as the pillow in the barbie bed post, stuff w/toilet paper or paper towel. Now glue your snacks to a piece of cardboard that can fit in your box. To make beverages, simply cut out two, fold, and follow the instructions above. Once the cardboard is in your box, feel free to add details such as a keypad or a slot. And then your done! I hope your dolls enjoy this fun food machine great for a doll's room or store! Thank you for reading! Have a purr-fect day! :-)
