How to give your doll a makeover!

Hey Guys!
how are y'all doing? I'm doing pretty meow-tastic myself! Today i'm going to teach you how I gave my doll a makeover. But before you read this post, you should read my "custom mlp-mcdonald's ponies" post. Here's the link:
So if you've read the post already, so far i've already made it a rule to change cheap dolls. In this case, i received this doll from my dentist. So instead of me chattering on, let's begin!
Go find:
1. Craft paint or nail polish
2. Nail polish remover
3. paint brushes
4. hot glue and gun
5. doll hair-i'm using hair from a bag i got from michaels but you can buy quality hair from dollyhair.com.
6. thumbtack or a pin
7. nail polish remover
8. Q tips
9. scissors

Method #1
To do the first method, take your nail polish remover and Q tips to remove the facial features.
When using method #1 the skin tone will stay the same but you draw the eyes and repaint the lip stick. Basically you're repainting the facial features. Draw your eyes and paint your lips.
Cut of the hair with scissors and glue on your doll hair. There are many methods of re rooting the hair, but i think it's a lot easier hot gluing the hair. ;-)
Method #2
Method #2 is easier, in my opinion, because using nail polish remover doesn't remove it without some elbow grease. With method #2, you can just paint over the facial features with crafting paint. I used a caramel color but i think it looks more like coco. After painting my doll, i let her dry, and then painted her underwear with a vibrant green color. I also used my scissors to cut off all of my doll's hair, as much as you can! ;-)
Use a thumbtack or pin to paint the whites of the eyes and the pupils.

Glue on the doll hair in strands or style it accordingly.
And now your super cute doll is finished! I could have made my doll look like me or Rainbow Dash, but i chose to see where my purr-fect creativity came in to make this doll. Comment, like, and share! have a purr-fect day!
