Hey Guys!!!
Today i am going to teach you how to make a really easy padded doll chair. All you need are a couple of household items everyone really has:
1. two cups: coffee cups, plastic cups, etc.
2. duct tape-any pattern
3. scissors
4. toilet paper-for stuffing :-)
5. Sharpie-marker
And these can be made for a lot of different dolls, Lalaloopsy, LPS, Barbie, etc., just change the cup size. So let's stop chatting and start crafting!

The first thing we are going to do is cut the back out of the fist cup. The reason we are doing this is because the cup is curved so the back of our chair will fit purr-fectly! I made my back rounded as seen in the pic above.
On my second cup i sat my doll on top of the cup, measured where her shoes fell, and drew a line w/my sharpie. then i cut across that line.
And then i duct taped the back to the chair. See i told ya-Purr-fect fit! :-) Now you could leave it like that i suppose, but i am going to pad mine. To make a cushion, crumple up toilet paper in a ball and cover w/duct tape.
and next we tape the cushion onto our chair... and oh my goodness we're done! Feel free to cover the whole chair w/duct tape like my first one in the slide show up top. Another optional thing you can do to make your chair more durable is to stuff it with plastic bags and glue a cardboard base to the bottom. Thank you so much for reading my blog and have a purr-fect day! :-)
